Yesterday, we reported Gunplay was set to turn himself in on an arrest warrant he’d received in May, and today, he officially headed to the slammer. His lawyer told TMZ, “Gunplay voluntarily surrendered today without incident. There’s been an open arrest warrant for armed robbery with a firearm.” He’d apparently been advised to do as soon as possible by his team, following the brawl at the Hip-Hop Awards that put him on police radar again. No word on what will happen from here, but we’ll keep you updated!
