NOLA rapper Turk, who was a member of the Hot Boyz, has been released from prison after serving about nine years on a ten year bid for a weapons charge. Turk was released earlier this morning and is already eager to get back to making music. The rapper is also planning on writing a book and a screenplay which should be released soon. Read more below.

Turk told AllHipHop that his screenplay, “Reckless,” will be released soon. His book, “The AutoThugography” is also in the works and he’s hoping it will be published. Turk was arrested after two S.W.A.T. officers were injured during a shoot-off in an apartment raid back in ’04. It seems like he’s turned over a new leaf and prison and his release comes just as Juvenile and Wayne are collabing so maybe a full on Hot Boyz reunion will be happening?
