Bad news for Chicago rapper Chief Keef…and it’s definitely that ish he don’t like. Some choices he’s made over the past few months during his new-found rap career have violated the terms of the probation he’d been put on before the fame, stemming from an incident where he’d pointed a gun at a Chicago police officer. Now, a recent interview he did with Pitchfork, a crowd the cops found him around and failure to finish one of the tasks he was to complete on probation could all result in some more time behind bars. Honestly, I’m not totally opposed to that. Perhaps a reform program would be better, though. Judging by his behavior when fellow Chicago rapper Lil Jojo was killed, the people he’s still hanging around despite the fact he has a career to focus on and various other factors, the 17 year old rapper clearly has some growing and learning to do. Find out exactly what might land him behind bars below.

A hearing was held today, and prosecutors are going hard to get Keef back in jail. They cited the controversial interview he did with Pitchfork (which they’ve since taken down) as a probation violation, since they took Keef to a gun range and he was seen on camera holding guns. The terms of probation state that he can’t have any firearms, illegal drugs or associate with gang members, and he’s violated the latter as well. On September 30th, Chicago police found Keef with members of the Black Disciple gang while responding to a call of “gang disturbance.” And lastly, Keef has failed to earn a GED before a deadline set by his probation. It’s not looking good for the “I Don’t Like” rapper, but a decision has not yet been made. His next court hearing will be on November 20th.
