Marisa Mendez for Beats By Dre #ShowYourColor campaign

Ah, just what the doctor prescribed! Since parting ways with their Monster manufacturer earlier this year, the guys over at Beats By Dre launched their first post-Monster products yesterday in Manhattan, and it looks like they’ll be doing just fine without them. Beginning over at their Soho store (which will celebrate a year on November 2nd thanks to its success, originally supposed to be only a 3-month pop-up shop!), Beats’ head honchos Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine announced three new products, the portable “Beats Pill” speaker (I see what you did there, Dre), Beats Executive headphones and urBeats earbuds that promise not to slip out of your ear. Beats then made their way to Times Square, where they held arguably the best campaign I’ve seen from a company in quite some time! Putting a photo booth smack dab in the center of all the action, people were able to check out the Solo HD headphones in their recently-launched candy color-scheme, take a photo with them on, add their own word to it and see their face on THREE billboards in Times Square! How cool is that! Mine is above, and it’s tremendez. In the gallery, check out photos from the press conference along with the new products.
