The Statue of Liberty’s Crown Re-Opens for the public to take a tour of. The renovations took a year and $30 Million Dollars. The statue is open for touring Sunday (rain or shine)
The access via a new staircase comes on the 126th anniversary of the landmark’s much-heralded debut in New York Harbor. The crown was shut done last October when the work began.
The reopening is set for Sunday rain or shine — even with the impending threat of Hurricane Sandy.
