While some would be happy being linked to the Kardashian name.. apparently others could also get mad. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are launching a brand named Khroma Beauty, a lower end cosmetics line that will be sold at not-so-fancy places like Ulta, Sears, and CVS next month.
Michael Rey, the co-owner of the current line Chroma Makeup in Bev Hills tells TMZ:
His brand took 12 years of blood, sweat and tears to build and now boasts an A-List clientele — but he grouses the Kardashians line cheapens his products and creates confusion in the marketplace.
Rey worries that his high end costumers will get turned off and get the high end brand confused for the trashy brand the Kardashian’s are about to release. He thinks it will be embarrassing for his clientele. Nuts, some people pay these sisters millions for endorsements, Michael wants NOTHING to do with the “low-budget cosmetic products”
He’s ready to sue and take legal actions if nobody is making the move.
