Since the after-math of Hurricane Sandy gasoline has been at the peak of necessities in the area. Gas stations all over the NY/NJ area are “out of gas”. The lines all over the area are causing people to have to wait hours to get fuel in their tank. The frustration has affected several people and pushed them over the edge. In Queens there was an incident where a frustrated man pulled out a gun on an attendant another driver in the Westchester area pulled out a box cutter.

“If you don’t pull back, you’re not getting gas tonight,” Bailey told the other man.

Cops raced to the scene and busted the St. Albans man. They found the gun in his left boot. Bailey was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He’ll
be arraigned Friday and faces 15 years in prison if convicted.
Tension was also simmering in the Bronx, where cars steadily streamed into a Mobil and BP gas station off the Cross Bronx Expressway – even though there was no gas to be found.
“We have nothing,” said attendant Adam Arroyo, who said a shipment last arrived at 5 a.m. Wednesday and ran out by 11 a.m. “It’s crazy. They’re talking about a week now until we get gas.”
