Despite the fact Hurricane Sandy tore through the east coast the night before his album release day, cancelling many of his scheduled appearances and preventing people in his hometown and surrounding areas (where he’d likely get the strongest support) from going out to the stores and purchasing the album, Meek Mill still had a very strong debut on the charts with his first album.
