The raunchy S&M book “50 Shades of Grey” is causing a divorce between a wealthy couple in England. A businesswoman/banker bought the book, read it, and tried to use it as a guide to spice up her boring sex life with her husband. Unfortunately, he wasn’t into the bondage scenes that occurred in the book and denied his wife’s requests to try new things. She asked for a divorce. Hit the jump

In the case, filed in the High Court this year, the wife refers to the book in her grounds for divorce, which blames the breakdown of the marriage on the husband’s lack of sexual adventure.
The wife’s solicitor, Amanda McAlister, one of Britain’s leading matrimonial lawyers, says she believes the case is the first where the book has triggered a divorce.
