Samsung today said it does not plan to hold talks with Apple on settling their multi-jurisdictional patent war.

“It may be true that HTC may have agreed to pay 300 billion won (US$276 million) to Apple, but we don’t intend to (negotiate) at all,” Shin Jong-kyun, who heads Samsung’s mobile and IT division, told reporters, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.

Terms of the Apple/HTC settlement have not actually been announced, although speculation has been that HTC will pay Apple $6 to $8 a phone in royalties.
