This is somewhat funny, but I do feel bad for the ref. They do not make anywhere near what the players make but they must follow the code of conduct expected of them. During a game almost 2 weeks ago with the Dolphins and Colts, the referee did not turn his microphone off and the entire stadium and television audience heard him use “inappropriate language”. That slip of the tongue will cost him $9K. Read more below.
