“The Price Is Right” is being sued after they fired a model for getting pregnant. The hit TV show is being sued for not only firing the pregnant woman but also harassing her by calling her names such as “wide load.” Brandi Cochran, the fired model, was originally awarded $775,000 in damages by a judge who didn’t even hear her testimony. After hearing her side of things, the jury awarded her a whopping $7,763,440 which is probably much more than she’d ever make on the show. The show has since released a statement. Read more below.

PIR Executive Producer Mike Richards released a statement on the show’s website, calling yesterday “a tough day for The Price Is Right and its staff.”

In the show’s defense, Mike describes one model who went through two pregnancies on the show — and writes, “If we don’t like pregnant models, we sure have a funny way of showing it.”
