After the iconic rapper’s death, Nate Dogg’s family went into a frenzy. He didn’t leave a will in testament, so his wife, LaToya Calvin and children were on the battle to see who would get what. Nate’s wife decided to give up on the court case, and caved in. The wife, (NOT the mother of the kids) I guess just knew that it would cost more to battle in court than to just give in. According to court docs, LaToya withdrew her petition for control earlier this month, and her lawyer tells TMZ, “Nate’s children wanted a ‘professional administration’ and Ruth and LaToya decided to withdraw to avoid conflict with the children.”
Sources close to Nate’s kids tell us they are “ecstatic.”
As for who’s in charge of the estate now … it’s TBD.
