I’ve never been big into fads or rituals, but this is new to me and I just don’t understand it. Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard married his longtime girlfriend (ex Eagles cheerleader) Krystle Campbell a beach in Hawaii this past Saturday. Afterwards the two participated in what’s called, “Trash the Dress.”
Apparently it’s a new trend where newlyweds destroy the bride’s wedding gown (usually at a beach or lake but dirt, stones and fire has been used) and you make sure you film it so you can proudly display it later.
Have any of you done this? If you have, can you please explain it to me? Check out the pics after the jump…
