The California based burger joint is making its New York Debut in Murray Hill projecting 300 plus jobs in the New York City area. They are bringing the taste of Hollywood to New York City, Andy Wiederhorn the CEO of Fatburger said “we’ve wanted to open in New York City for a long time.” Hit the jump for more.

The 60 year old chain says they plan to hire 10 to 20 employees per store, has teamed up with Riese Organization that is responsible for running 75 KFC and Pizza Hut Locations in the area.
The first location is slated to open up 509 Third Ave, replacing Patsy’s Pizza. Riese Organization is targeting residential areas trying to build a strong family fan base. The chain which says it cooks it burgers to order will beef up the fast food competition in New York as there are already 627 burger spots in New York City, however I’m sure they can be successful in the worlds largest market.
