Elizabeth Johnson was sentenced to 5 years, in an Arizona court, for kidnapping and custodial interference. Johnson Gave her son to a family in Texas to make sure that her baby’s father would never see him, but she told him that she killed the boy and that she was fleeing the country. Johnson suspected her then boyfriend Logan McQueary of fooling around with other woman and this stunt was apparently the consequences though she regrets making that huge mistake now. “I have to live every day without my son and without knowing where he is,” Johnson cried to the courtroom. “That is the worst pain and punishment I could ever have … I am deeply sorry.”
Though Logan McQueary, the baby’s father feels that Johnson should suffer saying, “What Elizabeth has done has not only robbed me but my friends and family … her actions hurt and changed people and their lives forever [and] I think Elizabeth should be held accountable for her actions.”
Dont use your baby to get back at the mother or the father. In the end you should always be looking out for your child’s well being, and this woman didn’t just leave with the kid, she gave it away. Some people may say its despicable but I have to wonder if a woman who gets so mad she gives her kid away could really raise their child to be a successful member of society. I feel bad for the Mr. McQueary though Ms. Johnson claimed McQueary ruined her life.
Johnson was arrested in Miami in December of 2009 and charged with custodial interference and kidnapping.
