This is truly a story that shows not to let any kind of disability hold you back from achieving your dreams. Nick Newell a mixed martial arts fighter, was born with just one hand and was still able to capture the XFC lightweight championship. Read more after the jump.
Not only did he win the title, he only needed 82 seconds to do it. Newell made it look downright easy, suplexing Eric Reynolds to the mat, and then sinking in a rear-naked choke to win the belt. Reynolds came in with a 16-5 record but was still no match for the special fighter.
Newell is now 9-0 and has only needed more than three minutes in three of his fights. Maybe now the UFC will take a chance and sign him.
