The Minnesota Timberwolves and practically everyone else who loves basketball has been eagerly awaiting the return of point guard Ricky Rubio.  He tore his left ACL last season and went through a great deal of rehab.  Last night he made his comeback and showed why he was greatly missed.  Rubio is the definition of a true point guard with a dope handle and supreme court vision.  Last night during the Timberwolves game against the Dallas Mavericks, Rubio receives the ball at the top of the three-point arc, and initiates the dribble-drive after a brief shot fake. Once he gets near the baseline, the pass he makes is so unbelievable that it was almost hard to see on the very first viewing.  The replay shows that the ball was bounced with precision through the legs of Elton Brand, and right into Greg Stiemsma’s capable hands.  Check it out after the jump.

The Timberwolves went on to defeat the Mavericks 114-106 in overtime.
