An anonymous email account from Mexico sent to Jon Hammar’s mother stated, “I found your email on the Internet and I wanted to send you this photo,” the sender wrote in Spanish. “I am not giving you my name because I like my job and I don’t want to lose it. Juan is OK but I hope he is let out quickly.” attached with the picture above, the ex-Marine chained to a bed at CEDES prison in Matamoros, Mexico. His mother Olivia Hammar said, “It’s just devastating,” .. “He’s normally such a happy kid. And now he just looks so lost.” Hammars was arrested for passing a border with a loaded gun.
