Tech Talk News: Sprint Sales Rep Tells Customer His Finger Are Too Fat

Earlier this year mobile companies  began instructing its sales people to start pushing Android and Windows devices. The reasoning, because the mobile companies pay a lot more to subsidize Apple’s iPhone and the mobile carrier sees a higher gross margin with Android and Windows. With that said a customer asked a Sprint sales rep for an iPhone 4 as part of his upgrade which would allow him to receive the iPhone 4 for free. The sales rep refused to sell the customer the smartphone calling “a piece of s—”. The customer once again requested the phone then the rep told the customer that his fingers were too fat for the iPhone 4 and needed larger phone like the GS III. I wonder if that customer still has a job or is it get a sale at any means necessary.
