It’s a scary place in Chicago as of late. I’m sad to report yet another upcoming rapper has lost his life, and it looks like it’s stemming from the same beef another upcomer, Lil Jojo, lost his life from earlier this year. Joshua “JayWood” Davis was an aspiring rapper from the West Englewood area of the Chi, and he was shot and killed early this morning. His sister believes it’s because of his Lil Jojo hoodie! Details below.
“He was killed because he was wearing a hoodie and getting off the bus,” Jay’s sister Selina Davis said. “He was a great boy. He was only a baby.”
“We would tell him, ‘That ain’t good to wear that hoodie.’ But that was his best friend,” his cousin revealed.
No suspects are in custody as of yet, but police are working on the case. Chief Keef (who many say was behind the killing of Jojo) has yet to comment. The violence needs to stop already!
