Jets coach Rex Ryan announced Thursday that Mark Sanchez will start for the Jets in their season finale on Sunday against the Bills because Greg McElroy is sidelined by a concussion.   This is pretty much the same situation for Michael Vick who gets the start due to Nick Foles’ injury.

What is somewhat surprising (well not really) is that Ryan decided yet again not to turn to Tim Tebow.  There’s been many reports about issues between Ryan and Tebow over the wildcat offense and lack of snaps.  Tebow will become a quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars next season so the saga will end.

“When I looked at it, you only have two practices left, one’s a walkthrough,” Ryan said, via the team’s website. “The fact that Mark had success earlier in the year against them, I thought this was the right decision.”
