I am not sure how I feel about Vick dissing his soon to be former teammates to the media now. Everyone knows he will not be back in Philly next year, so waiting till the season is over to put people on blast seems a little lame on his part. He should of done it halfway through the season and just maybe the team might of got out of their funk and performed better. It could also be coming out now since he was close to coach Andy Reid who was fired today. According to CSNPhilly.com, Vick said,
It’s all about focus, dedication and commitment. “Until you get guys who are willing to better themselves week in and week out and want to win, you’re not going to win. And I haven’t played with guys like that. It’s unfortunate for coach thing turned out the way they are. It could have been a lot better. This locker room could have dictated that.”

He also went on to say, “I give 110 percent effort. My body is scarred up all year. I’m hurt, I’m bruised, get up after every hit and still try and fight and push. I do that for my coaches. I do that for my teammates. And I would expect the same thing in return.”

Vick removes himself from blame, which I somewhat agree. Vick did not have a great season, but his effort was always there on the field. Now as far as in the locker room, who knows, that is a different story. Either way Vick is right about the Eagles, it just should of been said sooner.
