New numbers from Flurry would suggest that in the last week of December about 17 million iOS and Android devices were activated on christmas. And during that time about 1.76 million apps were download on Cnristmas but during the full week of Christmas both iOS and Android activated a whopping 50 million devices. We can see why Nokia and Microsoft are not flourishing in the mobile market. With numbers like these both companies dont stand a chance.Flurry also thinks the trend of 2 billion apps being downloaded a week will be the norm in 2013.
