In sad news after a month after its release Windows 8 has reached a whopping 1.72% of all desktop computers, this is all according to data received from NetMarketShare in the month of December. That number may change since the holiday season just passed and i sure more than handful of desktops were bought as gifts. NetMarketShare still believes Windows 7 still has large part desktop shares, accounting for 45% of all windows desktops. And in second place Windows XP (people still use this) has a share of 39% of all Windows desktops.
