Be happy you don’t live in China. Unless you do, and if so I feel sorry for you if you drive there. As of January 1st, 2013, A new nationwide law went into effect in China requiring drivers to stop at YELLOW lights, as well as red. This pretty much defeats the purpose of having a yellow light, but hey, what do I know. The law was put into effect with the hopes of significantly reducing the number of traffic related deaths in the country. On average, about 250,000 people die each year in road related accidents in China. That is an extremely high number. So hopefully this helps, even though I am sure they could of came up with other ways. Hit the link after the jump for more.
