Nissan is planning to pull you in by your sense of smell at next week’s International auto show in Detroit. The brand is attempting to make headlines at this show which is change from recent years of Nissan being rather low key at auto shows. They have created a eye catching display booth which will be sure to attract crowds. What is most interesting is the new aroma they have created. The smell which is labeled ” thé vert oriental ” in French, is being used at the display booth in hopes of determining how people react to the scent. Nissan is hoping it is a big hit because it wants all of it’s U.S. retailers to eventually use it in their own showrooms. The smell is described as “green tea during Chinese spring harvest”. I don’t know. I obviously have not smelled it yet but I think I would pass on a fragrance from a car brand.
