Calgary-based Nomadic Pictures co-founders Mike Frislev and Chad Oakes have been tapped to take over production of BBC America’s Copper ahead of a second season shoot in Toronto.Frislev and Oakes replace Brad van Arragon, who left at the end of the first season. Cineflix Studios, which produces the cable network period drama, in association with BBC America, on Friday confirmed the hire after discussions with Frislev and Oakes started in fall 2012.
