Last Thursday Pope Benedict XVI announced his plans to retire as he wants to be “hidden from the world.” But why? Why is he actually retiring?! Hit the jump for more!
Pope Benedict XVI reign as the head Catholic Leader is almost over as he is stepping down. His reason is because of health issues and I’m not doubting that that isn’t the case, but it jut seems like there another reason. The Vatican has always been good at keeping the public out of their business, but tit got a little easier when embarrassing documents were leaked early last year! So here are some of the reason’s that the Pope could be retiring:
1. Head Injury- March 2012
2. Pacemaker Implant (Heart)- December 2012
3. Construction of His Retirement Home- Fall 2012
