Condolences go out to the friends and family of “A Different World” star Lou Myers, who passed away last night in West Virginia at the age of 77. The man famous for his role as Mr. Vernon Gaines succumbed to what his non-profit organization described as a “heart-related emergency.” Because of his time in the Army, he will receive a military burial in West Virginia. He’s survived by his son but guess who else. His mom! She’s 95 and still kicking. God bless her. Rest in peace, Mr. Myers.
