The Royal Thai Special Forces in Sannapit, Thailand, taught the U.S. Marines an oral lesson in survival that involved COBRAS!! The group learned how to catch, cut and drink the fresh blood of cobras and eat forest insects and pull heads off of chickens.

So whenever you decide to become a U.S. Marine and someone mentions the training Operation Cobra Gold 13, brace yourself as you will be drinking live Cobra blood. As CNN notes, Cobra blood is believed to be a panacea and aphrodiasic in parts of Southeast Asia. In Jakarta, vendors can earn over $100 a night selling shots of cobra blood mixed with liquor.
