Hundreds of NFL prospects invaded Indianapolis this week to test their skills at the NFL combine and the guy known for getting catfished, Manti Te’o, hasn’t lived up to expectations. He posted a 4.82 40 time that left scouts disappointed.
This is where LeBron James comes in. LeBron decided to take a shot at the kid last night before his game against the Spurs. Check out what he had to say & let us know what you think…

According to NESN:

James took a shot at Te’o’s underwhelming workouts before the Heat played the Spurs in Miami on Tuesday night, even referencing his own 40 time as a comparison.

Via Ira Winderman:

– NFL Combine again the pregame entertainment in the Heat locker room. Asked his 40 time, LeBron said he ran a 4.6 in training last summer.

– LeBron on his 4.6 40 that he pointed out was without training, “It’s better than Manti Te’o, I’ll tell you that.”

LeBron’s freakish athleticism has been well documents over the years, from his 6-foot-9 frame to his 7-foot wingspan and accurate 3-point shooting (41 percent this season). But to run a 4.6-second 40 on a whim and without training is absurd.

There is no telling what James might run if ever given the proper training to prepare for a formal 40-yard dash, but one thing we can be sure of is that he would have scouts drooling over his talent.
