Nothing wrong with a lil reminder. Bulls player Jimmy Butler does something for every game – like Michael Jordan used to do (for another reason though). This isn’t uncommon, a lot of players have their routines or superstitions. Hey, whatever works!

Bulls’ second year swingman, Jimmy Butler, a Marquette alum, says he wears his college practice shorts under his game shorts in every game. Every Bulls fan remembers Michael Jordan’s lucky North Carolina shorts that he too wore under his Bulls uniform. Unlike MJ, it’s not a superstitious luck thing, it’s more of a remember where you came from ode.
Butler explained his tradition postgame after the Bulls win over the Nets on Saturday:
“[It’s] Michael Jordan style. It just reminds me where I come from and never to forget it.”
