We all know spring is just around the corner… it’s literally a couple weeks away. Over the past couple months I’ve lost thirty pounds, so if you want to find out some tips and tricks, I got you! Hit the jump to read more.

Eating clean and exercising are the keys to weight loss. Eating clean isn’t as hard as people think it is. It’s all about eating the right quantity and quality of foods. These changes in your diet shouldn’t be temporary, they should be life changes. Once you make a change in your lifestyle, not only will you lose weight and get toned, but you’ll feel so much more energized and a lot more confident!
Here are some quick tips:
-Stop eating white bread and start eating whole wheat and multi-grains
-Eat lean protein, fruits and/or vegetables with every meal (experiment and find ones that you really enjoy)
-Don’t focus on calories because even low calorie foods can be unhealthy. Try to avoid foods with high fat and sodium contents.
-Drink lots of water!! For men drink 3Liters/13 cups and women 2.2Liters/9cups daily… Also, before you eat make sure you drink water because sometimes we confuse hunger for thirst.
-Eliminate soda completely; it bloats you, adds pounds, and even decays your bones and teeth. Also, try to drink alcohol in moderation.
-Exercise as much as you can! Find fun activities so it doesn’t seem like a chore. I try to exercise at least 30-60 minutes, 3-5x a week (I do yoga, elliptical, walks, etc.
-You can indulge here and there… don’t deprive yourself by any means… Just make sure you’re being honest with yourself on whether or not it’s a good choice for you.
-Keep a positive attitude and you’ll see great results 🙂
