Mark Wahlberg is currently on the press circuit with Diddy to promote their new venture, AquaHydrate. While talking to a UK magazine earlier this week, he reportedly made some comments about possibly getting his former rap group The Funky Bunch back together (“I’ve just got to find the right time,” he said), and two of the group members are PUMPED! Terry Yancey (aka DJ T) and Hector Barros (aka “The Booty Inspector”) told TMZ, “Our initial reaction was that it would be amazing if he were to want to reunite with the group.”
Now, no official convo has actually gone on but they say it has been something they’ve discussed for a while now.
“We always had the want of getting back together as a group. But once Mark’s acting career took off it became obvious it wasn’t going to happen.” Mark actually declined an offer to tour from the guys in 08 because he said he was too far removed from music. However, the guys still tour without him.
