Oracle has announced that they will be purchasing Nimbula, a private cloud software provider. Oracle said that “Nimbula’s technology helps companies manage infrastructure resources to deliver service, quality and availability, as well as workloads in private and hybrid cloud environments.” Nimbula’s software will be embedded into Oracle’s private cloud and it should give customers the option of going back and forth between both cloud platforms.
