Reba Williams completed all 12 grades, leaving her to graduate in 1925. But, the Mount Vernon, Ohio school district wasn’t feeling it. See Reba was given a book to read one year in high school, but she refused to read it, not knowing that this could be the reason it took her 88 years to receive here diploma! Check this out though, Reba actually read the book prior to it being given to her, but refused to read it again simply because she didn’t like it! They not even supposed to know all that Ms. Reba lol. But, the case was brought to the Board of Education and they ruled in her favor, and now Ms. Reba Williams is now officially a graduate!
