The Celtics currently hold the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference despite losing star point guard Rajon Rondo.  They will face the Miami Heat on Monday March 18th and try to put an end to the Heat’s win streak if the Raptors don’t do it first tomorrow (hey you never know).  The Celtics are unfazed by the challenge and true to old school rivalry, had nothing nice to say about their conference rivals.

Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston:

“Not really impressed with it or anything that they do,” said Terry, who has a history with Miami from his Dallas days when the two teams met in the 2011 Finals. “So, for me, it’s more about what our team is doing and how we’re coming together as a unit.”

Asked whether he wants the Heat to still be carrying that streak on Monday, [Paul Pierce] offered, “I really don’t even care. I hope they lose every game the rest of the season. I just worry about what this team does.”

Nice to see players not give a politically correct answer but instead say what they feel.  Celtics and Heat games are usually really good and intense and this one should be no different especially if that win streak is still in tact.
