About a week or so ago, Brooklyn Teen, Kimani Gray was wrongfully shot and killed by two NYPD officers. After the incident, they made it seem like the boy was a threat but anyone of us on the outside looking in on the situation knew what it really was! Since then, the officers were honored with plaques for acts of “bravery.” But just when we thought they might have won, this pops up! These two officers, Sgt. Mourad Mourad and Officer Jovaniel Cordova, have had five lawsuits filed against them which include allegations of wrongful arrests and illegal stop-and-frisks, AKA ‘Civil Rights Violations’! The city of new york has even had to give out over $200,000 in settlements because of these cases. So, as of now, these two officers are on administrative duty and are under investigation!
Too bad not to many people are crazy about it but I just had to have.. I also wanted the Bon BOn but it’s completely sold out. I also picked up a watercolor belt i think its really cute for the spring/summer with some jeans and a tee. I’m sooo happy it was a great Mothers day Present.
