Microsoft created a timeline table on its website. In the table it says that the company will be ending support for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8. Each system will get a total of 18 months of support, which has already begun, as both operating systems are shipping on various hardware. This is supposed to take in affect in July of 2014 for Windows Phone 8 and September of 2014 for 7.8. Microsoft has yet to announce its plans for another operation systems.
