Too $hort was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic stop earlier this week and failing a breathalyzer test, but he also got charged with felony drug possession after he allegedly dumped his drugs into the backseat of the cop car when being taken to the station. Now the report on the “drugs” has come out, and they’re revealed to be meth! That’s pretty hardcore, $hort. However, the sources say this will likely turn out to be E that was just laced with meth. Okay, a little less crazy…but still not good! The thing is, $hort is denying that they were his drugs (of course, lol) but he does have a pretty valid excuse! See what he said below.
Short’s rep, David Weintraub, tells TMZ that Short didn’t have drugs on him, and that can be proven because “Short was diligently searched and cuffed prior to being placed in the disgustingly filthy patrol car.”
“It was 3 AM, the cop car smelled like vomit and was littered with remnants from prior arrests of the evening.”
However, LAPD says their protocol is to thoroughly search the entire patrol car after every arrest.
Hmm, I think I’m riding with Short on this one! Just because it’s their protocol doesn’t mean they followed it! And how would Short maneuver that much if he was cuffed, right? What do you think?
