Apple has acquired WiFiSlam, a company who makes a GPS app that lets smartphones locate themselves indoors using WiFi signals, for $20 million. WiFiSlam is two years old company that has already raised funding from investors and have a few ties with Google. The company’s co-founder Joseph Huang, who was a software engineering intern at Google and a current Google employee Don Dodge is also listed as an angel investor.
