Oklahoma City Thunder v Los Angeles Lakers

Everybody knows how important winning is to Kobe Bryant.  When need be he puts the whole team on his back and hits insane shots when the game is on the line.  In his quest to win is also his quest to get a sixth championship.  We all know the great Michael Jordan has six rings and the Black Mamba is often compared to him so it’s only right that he finish off his career with six as well.  Many thought it would happen this year when the Lakers acquired Steve Nash and Dwight Howard but things went south.  Miraculously Kobe turned the season around and somehow managed to get the Lakers to the eighth seed in the Western Conference.  So how badly does Kobe want to win?  Read more after the jump.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Antawn Jamison has played for five different teams over his 15-season career, but says he’s never played with a guy quite like Kobe Bryant.

“This guy’s a different dude,” Jamison said of Bryant while a guest on the “Max & Marcellus Show” on ESPNLA 710 radio on Wednesday.

Jamison said Bryant acts more like a veteran chasing his first title than a five-time champion.

“You can’t even tell he has five [rings],” Jamison said. “This guy would get rid of his kids to win that championship.”

“It’s great to be with him,” added Jamison. “I love a guy who expects so much from his teammates. He pushes his teammates. After games, we’re traveling, guys are on their laptops, their iPads, watching movies, listening to music, this guy is watching film. He’s breaking down situations. I’ll be watching a movie, he’ll tap me like, ‘Come here.’ He’ll dissect plays like, ‘This is what we got to do, me and you got to get this going.’ I mean, this guy eats, sleeps basketball and the only thing he wants to do is to win another championship and I’ve never seen anybody as focused, as dedicated as Kobe.”
