Michael Crabtree made comments this week that during the Super Bowl against the Ravens he actually lost his vision after a big hit. I am going to assume you need your vision to run and catch a football. The hit happened late in the game courtest of Ravens defensive back Jimmy Smith. See what Crabtree said about it after the jump.

In an interview with NFL Network’s Rich Eisen, Crabtree told him “When the guy hit me, he hit me all in the face. I’m not tripping. I’m not one to whine about nothing, but he hit me all in the face and I couldn’t really see after he hit me.” He talks about it like losing your vision temporarily is nothing big. “They hit me, I really couldn’t see,” Crabtree said. “… Then it just came back. It’s not concussion-like. When you get hit in football, it’s going to feel like you can’t see. It’s going to feel intense. But it snapped back. It happens all the time in football.” Just happy to hear he is ok. The fact he says it happens all the time in football can’t be good for Roger Goodell and what he is trying to do to make the league safer.
