The Bills agreed to a two-year contract with former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb.  The deal is reportedly worth up to a maximum of $13 million.  Kolb was reportedly on the radar of the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders. Rex Ryan’s search for an adequate passer rages on, while the Raiders are mired in trade talks with the Seattle Seahawksfor the rights to Matt Flynn.

Kolb had a disastrous two years with the Cardinals that was filled with injury and disappointment.  The Bills O-line however is significantly better than the Cardinals and the coaches have better knowledge of how to use Kolb.

Kolb will compete with Tarvaris Jackson, Aaron Corp and very likely a developmental passer from next month’s draft for the chance to replace Ryan Fitzpatrick in coach Doug Marrone’s offense.
