We just celebrated his birthday a few months back, however this is a historical figure who could never be mentioned enough. Today marks the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. A hero who was heavily involved in the civil rights movement spoke out and allowed others who were too afraid, to have a voice. In his last speech, “I’ve been to the Mountaintop” MLK mentioned, “Longevity has its place,” and he may not have had it in life (some would say), but he will forever have it after death.
