Remember the “pregnant man?” The man who was really born a woman, but REALLY looks like a dude and then had multiple kids. Thomas Beatie is his (her) real name and now, he wants a divorce from his wife, Nancy Beatie. The woman who put up with the madness. Since denied by a judge in Arizona, Beatie is speaking out. Judge Gerlach denied Thomas Beatie a divorce because, the marriage was NOT legal. Beatie was never able to prove that he was really a man, so there fore since the state of Arizona does not have gay marriage on the books he was denied his request. The “pregnant man” says, “This is personal. This ruling is an attack on my person, my identity, and my family. It’s sad and embarrassing that Judge Gerlach is more focused on wanting to delegitimize my children than legitimize my family.” His attorneys are working on an appeal right now.
What I don’t get is if the marriage wasn’t legal, that means there is no reason for a divorce. Just go your separate ways.
