Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin’s parents, have settled a wrongful death lawsuit against the against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision. It is believed that Martin and Fulton settled for at least $1 million. The lawsuit amount will remain confidential. Read more below.
Benjamin Crump, Martin and Fulton’s lawyer, was asked if the amount was higher than $1 million and replied, “I have no comment on that subject…I know you did not get that from me.” Regardless of whether or not they received over $1 million, the money will never be able to replace their son or take away the pain of his death. Hopefully the case against George Zimmerman ends in a “victory” for Trayvon’s parents.
Damn, sad story. I can hear all the racists trying to smear the Martin family because of this. Hopefully Zimmerman is convicted.
