Better is an app that allows users to connect to nurses and doctors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week no matter where you are. Today at the D:Dive Into Mobile event founder Geoff Clapp gave a demo and explained his vision for better health care through his new mobile app. Better has teamed up with Mayo Clinic, which is the largest integrated group practice in the world. The Mayo Clinic has over 3,800 Mayo Clinic doctors and 58,000 allied health staff working together to provide care, conduct medical research, and train tomorrow’s health care providers. “There is a free version of Better, but the pricing is where it gets interesting. For free, you get access to the Mayo Clinic website, and you can create health records for you and your family. The subscription plans are still being worked out.” Clapp says.
