Dropkick Murphys
The Dropkick Murphys were Boston heroes previous to the Boston Marathon bombing and are doing everything they can to help aid the people of their hometown. The punk band have raised $65,000 thus far for the people affected by the bombings. Dropkick Murphys raised that amount of money in only 15 hours, so I’m sure more will be raised as time goes on. Find out how they raised the money and how you can help below.

Dropkick Murphys designed a tee shirt that is being sold with all the proceeds going to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. The front of the shirt reads “For Boston” and has a picture of the skyline. The back of the shirt has the city’s seal and reads, “Thank you, to all who purchased this shirt. All proceeds go to the victims and families of the Boston Marathon bombings. Love, Dropkick Murphys.” The shirts will be on sale for $24.99 and $26.99. The shirts, which are only available by pre-order thus far, are also going to be sold in Ireland, England, Europe and Australia. Check out the tee here.
